The TVP series vertical machines were developed working with molders to solve the problems encountered in molding solid one piece sun visors. The TVP design allows the operator to safely insert components into the mold between cycles. Other special features are a complex steam system to achieve perfect fusion without core vents, machine tilting during cycle to assist water drainage from the upper tool, and utility porting through the press tables for quick tool changes.
The TSM series horizontal machine was developed for the two-piece or clamshell style sun visor. This sun visor is made in two pieces and assembled with the frame and other components after molding. These parts have extremely thin EPP sections requiring special filling techniques. The surface quality and tolerances are similar to the full visor.
