Foam Equipment + Consulting Co. (FE+C) was founded in 1989 as an equipment supplier to the EPS (expandable polystyrene) packaging industry.  FE+C was founded by Ted Komen after retiring from a successful 35 year career as founder and president  of one of the largest  EPS shape molding companies in North America.  

During his career as an EPS molder, Mr. Komen formed relationships with leading European and Taiwanese equipment suppliers.  FE+C is proud to represent these same companies today.

Mr. Komen was joined in 1989 by Phil Plotts and Miles Parker who had also worked in EPS/EPP shape molding production. As FE+C has grown, additional technical staff members have been added.  

FE+C has become a leader in EPP (expanded polypropylene) molding equipment in North America, supplying to the automotive and packaging industries. We are also active in EPS shape molding and specialized machines for the production of Lost Foam Patterns.

While serving as a sales office in North America for our suppliers, FE+C has become known for our service after the sale.  Our team of experienced technicians are highly regarded for their fast response and quality service.
